Class Attire
At Precision Dance Academy, we want our dancers to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn! Wearing the proper dance attire ensures our instructors can see each dancer's alignment, posture, and technique, helping everyone stay safe and prevent injuries. Just like putting on a uniform for sports, dressing the part helps our students step into the studio with a focused mind and a ready-to-dance attitude. We appreciate our PDA families' support in helping our dancers arrive for class properly dressed, with hair securely tied back and the correct shoes ready to move!
Ballet/Pointe
Footwear - Pink Ballet Slippers or Pointe shoes for females & Black Slippers for males
Attire - black leotard, pink, beige, tan tights ONLY ( may elect to wear a black skirt or black shorts for a cover up.
Contemporary/Lyrical/Modern
Footware - Foot pads
Attire - Fitted T-Shirt, Tank Top, Leotard, Crop Top. Fitted shorts or leggings. Tights are not required for this class.
Jazz/Latin
Footwear- Black jazz slip on shoes
Attire - Fitted T-Shirt, Tank Top, Leotard, Crop Top. Fitted shorts or leggings, skintone tights are optional.
Hip Hop
Footwear- Sneakers , Hip Hop Shoes or Combat Boots
Attire - Comfortable clothes including sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts and leggings.
Acro/Technique
Footwear - Foot pads or No shoes
Attire - Fitted T-Shirt, Tank Top, Leotard, Crop Top. Fitted shorts or leggings. Tights are not required for this class.
