Jevonne McCray
Owner, Studio Artistic Director, Instructor
Dance has always been at the heart of Jevonne McCray’s journey. Her passion began in high school as a member of both the Recreation Dance Team and Competitive Cheerleading Team, where she quickly discovered her love for performing. Through dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of training, her teams earned numerous awards and recognitions for their outstanding performances and stage presence. Those early experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to dance.
Jevonne continues her dance education, where she further developes her technical skills and performance abilities.
Alongside her dance background, Jevonne has enjoyed a successful career in business management, holding leadership positions with several Fortune 100 companies. Her professional experience has equipped her with the organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills that have helped shape the vision and success of Precision Dance Academy.
As the Owner and Director of Precision Dance Academy, Jevonne is committed to providing exceptional dance education in a positive, encouraging, and family-oriented environment. She believes every dancer deserves the opportunity to grow not only as a performer, but also as a confident, respectful, and resilient individual. Watching students develop their technique, discover their passion, and achieve their goals has become one of her greatest joys.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Jevonne continues to expand her own dance education through professional training in dance technique, movement, choreography, and dancer development. She is passionate about bringing innovative teaching methods and fresh ideas to the studio while maintaining a strong technical foundation for every student.
Above all, Jevonne believes that Precision Dance Academy should be a place where dancers of all ages feel inspired, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Whether a student dances recreationally or competitively, her mission is to cultivate confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love of dance.
Outside the studio, Jevonne’s greatest pride is her family. She is especially inspired by her daughter, whose passion for dance has led to numerous first-place overall awards, scholarships, and collegiate recognitions. Watching her daughter’s journey has reinforced Jevonne’s belief in the transformative power of dance and continues to inspire her to help every dancer pursue their dreams with confidence, dedication, and heart.
Carmen Friedberg
Dance Instructor
Carmen Friedberg is a Colombian-born dance educator, performer, and community leader based in Spring Hill, Florida. With over 30 years of experience, she has shared her passion for dance across the Americas, Europe, and the United States.
She holds a degree in Cultural Management and a Dance Educator Certificate, and is the author of a book on constructive learning published in Colombia. Carmen believes in the transformative power of art to elevate well-being, confidence, and personal growth.
Through her work, she inspires people of all ages to stay active, connected, and joyful through dance. Carmen is involved in a continued dance education program which allows her to keep her skills and technique development current


Renee Brinkman
Dance Instructor
Renee’s passion for dance began at the age of four and continued throughout her childhood and high school years. She has trained extensively in a wide variety of dance styles, including ballet, pointe, Irish step, musical theatre, ballroom, jazz, tap, and lyrical, building a strong technical foundation and a lifelong love for the performing arts.
Growing up in Hernando County, Renee had the opportunity to perform throughout the community at local fairs, nursing homes, holiday parades, and numerous special events. Her dedication and leadership were recognized early when she became a Junior Demonstrator at just nine years old. Through hard work and commitment, she advanced to the role of dance instructor by the age of sixteen.
One of Renee’s proudest achievements as a performer was dancing in the halftime show at the 2015 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, an experience that further fueled her passion for dance and performance.
As an instructor, Renee has inspired her students to achieve competitive success, earning numerous overall awards, including First Place Intense Platinum honors. She is committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment where dancers can develop confidence, technique, artistry, and a genuine love for dance. Renee is involved in a continued dance education program which allows her to keep her skill and technique development current.
Renee is thrilled to be a part of the Precision Dance Academy family and looks forward to sharing her experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm while inspiring the next generation of dancers to reach their fullest potential.
Valerie "Val" Rich
Dance Instructor
Valeria “Val” is excited to join the faculty at Precision Dance Academy. A lifelong dancer, Val has trained extensively in ballet and lyrical, developing a deep appreciation for both the artistry and discipline of dance.
Her teaching journey began in high school as an assistant dance instructor, and she has continued to inspire and mentor students through dance ever since. In addition to her work in the studio, Val is a high school teacher, bringing valuable experience in educating, encouraging, and connecting with students of all ages.
Val believes that dance is much more than learning technique—it is a place where students can build confidence, develop leadership skills, embrace discipline, and express themselves in a positive, supportive environment. She is passionate about creating a classroom where every dancer feels valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential. For Val, dance is not only an art form but also a safe haven that has the power to positively impact lives.
She is honored to be a part of the Precision Dance Academy family and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with each of her students.


Veronica Serafin
Front Desk Coordinator
Veronica has always had a passion for performance, having danced on her high school dance team and participated in color guard. Her love for the dance community continued as a dance mom when her daughter joined Precision Dance Academy at the age of eight.
A devoted wife of 27 years and proud mother of three, Veronica enjoys being part of the PDA family and helping create a welcoming environment for every dancer and parent who walks through the doors. Whether she's answering questions, offering a friendly smile, or helping families throughout the season, you'll always find her at the front desk ready to assist.
When she's not at the studio, Veronica loves all things Disney, enjoys watching movies, and spends her free time crafting. She looks forward to getting to know each family and making everyone feel right at home.
